Our dishes are inspired by the rich and varied Indian cuisine, and by the wishes of our guests. We make sure our flavors are accessible to everyone: the spiciness is a little milder than in traditional Indian cuisine and some dishes are subtly sweetened to suit Western tastes.

Do you have specific preferences or do you want a dish exactly as you know it from India? Please let us know when making your reservation! We are happy to adapt our dishes to your personal taste, so that both Indian and Dutch guests at Taj Mahal can enjoy it to the fullest.

What suits you?

We understand that tastes differ and that everyone has one
has your own preference. Which style (taste) appeals to you most?

Biryani dishes are traditionally prepared, lightly spiced curry. For the gourmet!

Tandoori dishes are prepared in our charcoal clay oven. A tandoori oven uses real charcoal to infuse the dishes with a delicious aroma.

Dopozea dishes prepared with lightly fried onion, coriander, cinnamon, bay leaf, and cardamom. Mildly spiced curry.

Madras dishes are very spicy dishes prepared in a South Indian manner.

Bhuna dishes have a slightly drier curry with the flavors of bell pepper, tomatoes, and a leaf of fresh herbs. Mildly spiced curry

Rogan Josh dishes prepared Kashmiri-style, fried in spiced oil and with the addition of tomatoes. Mildly spiced curry.

Elachi dishes prepared in a medium curry with a refined cardamom flavor. Mild spiced Curry

Vindaloo a very hot Madrascurry with extra ginger, garlic and black pepper. Spicy Curry!

Karai dishes. A delicacy served in an Indian pan. Slightly spicier than a medium curry.

Saag dishes. Refined, medium-spicy dishes prepared with fresh spinach.
